The beginning of a beautiful friendship…

Isaac met Nikolay in Ethiopia and had a tandem flight with him. Then he got hooked to paragliding and came to SkyNomad Bulgaria for his beginner’s training course. Next winter he invited Nikolay to explore Kenya and both made a perfect match – Nikolay is adventurous and crazy about flying, while Isaac is more cautious and sensitive about security and local interactions. In the beginning, the Kikuyu entrepreneurial spirit of Isaac drove his paragliding enthusiasm. Once, Nikolay told him – “Isaac, do you know how you can make 1 million dollar from paragliding?”. “How, how?” – Isaac asked impatiently. “By investing 2 million” – Niko replied :-). “Oh, you white man. You don’t understand business. We Africans we’ll teach you how to make business.”. But time has passed and Isaac understood that Niko’s paragliding enthusiasm is not about money but because of his passion for flying, mountains and adventures. And gradually, Isaac adopted the same approach. Now he enjoys the paragliding lifestyle, spreading the paragliding religion to other fellow Kenyans, enjoying life, enjoying himself. Money may come later, but nevertheless for both Isaac and Nikolay it’s a beautiful quest, it’s a beautiful friendship…
